Michael Hawes / Rhythm Guitar Name: Michael Hawes Instrument: Rhythm Guitar Birthday: 16th July 1985 Home Town: Rochford, Essex Influences: Silverchair, Nirvana, InMe, Lost Prophets, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Free, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi Outside the band: Hanging out with my mates, having random chats with my mum, playing darts with my Dad, screaming at FIFA with my best mate, listening to live bands, watching films (horrors especially), eating Chinese food and playing X-Box with Sam. Loves: My family is my biggest love.  We have had our rough patches and some amazing times - from holidays to Florida, to a bombshell like Mullion holiday village in Cornwall!  It has been a scary time over the last few years for me, having cancer, and my family has been the biggest help throughout, keeping a big smile on my face.  I know I haven’t had a chance to thank them properly, but one day I will! Friends – I would also be at a loss without them.  I will not name names, but they know who they are, and they have all made a big impact on my life and I thank them. Tattoo's – I only have 5, some meaning things to me and some just because I like them.  My first tattoo was with Paul (from the band), and I had tattooed on my shoulder the original soliss logo.  It was going to be my only one, but once you have one done you get a bug and have to get more.  I think the one of a guitar on my left forearm is my favourite. It signifies, my passion for playing guitar with soliss, and on the body of the guitar it has the initials, JCRKLPR.  Now this would not make sense to anyone....obviously, but they are the initials of my mum, dad, brother, and my best mates outside of the band Kaan, Lance, Phil, and Rob! Hates: I hate people that discriminate against other people, people who think they are better than everyone else! Also tomatoes and mushrooms!!!!!!!!!!! They are the food of Satan!
